Louis XVI Giltwood Mirrored Plateau Side Table - Louis XVI gilt wood plateau or side table, 19th century. Featuring a rounded, mirrored table top surface surrounded by a pierced ormolu gallery. Atop fluted legs terminating in pointed feet. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 18 1/2 in x width: 22 3/4 in x depth: 21 in. Condition: The table wobbles slightly when weight is applied. There are no cracks or losses to the mirrored surface. Light scratches along the surface. Light dust accumulated along the surface. There is a bend along the pierced metal rim. Some wear to the gilt along high points of the metal rim. There are scattered losses to the gilt along the legs. To one of the legs, there is a possible vertical crack or split to the wood. Some tarnishing to the interior metal rim bordering the mirrored surface. Wear to the feet and legs commensurate with age and use, including scratches, scuffs, and small chips.
