Pr French Empire Style Gilt Wood Wall Brackets - Pair of French Empire or Italian Neoclassical-style gilt wood wall bracket shelves. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Each) Height: 17 in x width: 15 1/2 in x depth: 8 1/2 in. Condition: Wear commensurate with age and material. There are large and deep areas of crazing and flaking forming in the gilt and lacquer along both brackets; to the bracket with deeper crazing, there are small chips to the lacquer along the contours of the crazing. There is a large chip to the lowest point of one bracket. Dust gathered along the recessed areas.
