2 Anglo-Indian Reticulated Wooden Fold-Away Tables - Group of two Anglo-Indian octagonal pierced wooden fold-away display or side tables. Each with carved maple leaf and foliate motifs. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Larger) Height: 21 1/2 in x diameter: 20 3/4 in. (Smaller) Height: 19 1/4 in x diameter: 18 in. Condition: The tables are structurally sound and stable. There is separation to the joints. The hinges funtion well, and each tables moves with ease. Each of the table tops are able to be separated from the lower portion of the tables. There are scattered chips and losses to the reticulated elements. To each, there are some small splits forming in the wood and separation to the joints, primarily along the carved table top surfaces. There are fleabite to small-sized chips along the tables' rims. To the larger table, there are two losses along the rim of the table top. To the smaller table, there are several splits forming in the wood along the carved top, including a large split along the rim that extends diagonally to another portion of the rim, measuring approximately 9 inches; there is a small loss along the rim radiating from the split. There is a small loss along one corner of the rim. To each, there is wear commensurate with age and use to the feet, including scuffs, scratches, and small chips. Light dust gathered along recessed areas.
