18th c. Chinese Qing B&W Porcelain Guanyin Figure - 18th c. Chinese blue and white porcelain figurine depicting a standing guanyin figure, Qing Dynasty. Wearing a robe decorated with phoenix forms and floral motifs executed in blue glaze. Provenance: Christie's, New York, NY, ”Captains and Kilns: British Ceramics, Chinese Export and Maritime Art, ” January 21, 2003, Lot 269; The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 10 in x width: 3 1/2 in x depth: 3 in. Condition: There are no cracks or signs of restoration or repair. Trace amounts of gilt remain, particularly along recessed areas. A few small residual adhesive marks, particularly along the right side of the figure's robe. Light wear along the underside.
