Italian Neoclassical Grand Tour Bronze Dragon Ewer - Italian Grand Tour Neoclassical bronze ewer or pitcher featuring a handle in the form of a mythical dragon. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 9 1/4 in x width: 4 1/4 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in. Condition: There are no breaks, bends, or losses. There is a horizontal crack along the base, measuring approximately 1 inch. A few fleabite chips, primarily along the extreme edges of the dragon. Scattered areas of verdigris patination throughout, particularly along recessed areas. A few white accretions, primarily along the base. There is a small blue accretion along the left side of the dragon. Light wear to the base, including small chips and light scratches.
