19th c. American School Miniature Painting - American school miniature portrait painting depicting a woman with gold jewelry dressed in a black dress, ca. 19th century. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 2 1/2 in x width: 2 1/4 in x depth: 1/4 in. Condition: No signs of restoration under UV light. There is a crack along the edge of the right of the painting. The verso lacks a plaited hair ornament. Light tarnishing to the metal. Not inspected out of frame.
