Pr Bonaparte & Josephine Miniature Portraits - Pair of miniature portrait paintings depicting Napoleon Bonaparte and his first wife, Josephine de Beauharnais, 20th century. Each signed ”Tezil” along the lower right. Provenance: Purchased ca. 1968 in New York; The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Each) sight; height: 3 1/4 in x width: 2 1/2 in. Framed; height: 4 3/4 in x width: 3 1/4 in x depth: 1/4 in. Condition: No signs of restoration under UV light. Light undulation along the edges visible to the portrait of a man. The glass on the portrait of the man has some chips to the edges. Neither portrait inspected out of frame. Both framed under glass. Light wear to both frames.
