French Empire Gilt Bronze Six-Light Chandelier - French Empire ormolu six-light chandelier, 19th century. With six winged sphinx figures positioned atop a tiered, circular cut glass shade composed of cascading, square crystals. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Height: 49 in x diameter: 32 Condition: There are no obvious breaks or losses. Some possible breaks and small repairs to the wiring between the crystals. Fleabite to small-sized chips to the crystals throughout. Slight tarnishing to the metal, particularly the sphinxes. Dust gathered along recessed areas.
