Pr Neoclassical-Style Carved Marble Table Lamps - Pair of carved Neoclassical-style white marble table lamps, 20th century. In the form of pierced urns with intricately carved detailing and foliate motifs. Atop verigated marble socle bases. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Lamp w/o bend) Height: 31 in x diameter: 5 1/4 in. (Lamp w/ bend) Height: 30 1/4 in x width: 8 in x diameter: 5 1/4 in. Condition: To one of the lamps, there are no large breaks, losses, or signs of repair to the marble components; there are few minute chips along the high points of the floral and foliate motifs as well as the extreme corners of the square base. To the other lamp, the post is bent and there is a break along the recessed stem, where the vessel rests atop the foot; there are chips along the break. To the same lamp, there are additional chips along the high points of the floral petals as well as the extreme edges of the base. The wiring to each lamp has been clipped. Light dust gathered along the recessed areas.
