French Louis XV Style Ormolu Garniture Set - French Louis XV-style gilt bronze garniture set. Including a mantel clock and a pair of ormolu candlesticks, 19th-20th century. Decorated with Rococo scrollwork and foliate motifs. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Clock) Height: 8 3/4 in width: 5 3/4 in x depth: 4 in. (Candlesticks, each) Height: 6 1/4 in x diameter: 4 in. Condition: There are no breaks or losses to the glass. To the bronze, there are no major breaks; however, there is a minute loss along the splayed foot of one of the candlesticks and there are are some minute cracks beginning to form along the thinnest regions, including the splayed bases. There are two residual tape accretions along the underside of the clock. Wax accretions along the interiors of the bobeche cups, consistent with use.
