19th c. French Ormolu Marble Mantel Garniture Set - Three-piece French Louis XVI style marble and gilt bronze or ormolu-mounted mantel garniture set, 19th century. Comprising two three-light candelabras and a central boudoir clock within a white marble case. Mounted by spiral ormolu columns along each corner terminating in flame-form decorations; the clock surmounted by a cherubic putti figure playing a flute. The candelabras flanking either side of the clock each with three foliate bobeche cups rising from organic branches Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. (Clock) Height: 10 1/4 in x width: 4 3/4 in x depth: 3 3/4 in. (Candelabras, each) Height: 7 3/4 in x width: 5 3/4 in x depth: 4 1/4 in. Condition: There are no breaks, cracks, or losses to the glass. There are areas of verdigris patination and wax accretions along the interiors of the bobeche cups. There is a deep scratch and few minute chips along the rim of one bobeche. Light dust gathered along the recessed areas. There are areas of toned adhesive residue along the edges of the interior of the clock.
