Attr. Bernard de Maere ”Nude Woman” Painting - Attributed to Bernard de Maere (Belgian, 1887-1954). Oil on board impressionist painting depicting a nude woman leaning against a chair. Signed along the lower right; with a ”Bernard de Maere” stamp along the verso. Height: 22 1/2 in x width: 19 in. Condition: The varnish is toned. There is craquelure. The wood board is comprised of three sections; where the boards are conjoined there is slight separation, resulting in two thin lines to be visible along the recto. Small losses to the pigment along the extreme edges. Scattered minute losses to the pigment throughout. There are accretions gathered along the verso. The work is not framed.
