Victor Arnautoff Cottage Landscape Painting - Victor Arnautoff (Russian/American, 1896-1979). Watercolor on paper painting featuring a picturesque landscape with a charming, red roofed cottage in the mid-ground. Singed along the lower left. Provenance: By repute, purchased from the estate of the artist's son. Height: 15 1/4 in x width: 23 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no major tears or losses. There are scattered areas of foxing throughout, primarily along the upper third. To each corner, there is a small pin hole. The edges of the paper are deckled making it difficult to discren if there are any small losses; however no major tears or losses are evident. Scattered areas of soiling along the verso.
