Frank Kleinholz ”Family” Oil on Board Painting - Frank Kleinholz (American, 1901-1987). Oil on canvas laid board painting titled ”Family, ” depicting two mothers and four children. Signed along the upper right. With an incised plaque along the lower edge of the frame, bearing the title and artist's name; further titled and inscribed ”#548P” along the verso. Unframed; height: 4 3/4 in x width: 4 in. Framed; height: 9 3/4 in x width: 8 3/4 in x depth: 1 1/4 in. Condition: There are no tears, losses, or signs of restoration. There are light areas of craquelure along the faces of the two shorter figures along the left third. Light wear to the frame including soiling, commensurate with being in a studio setting. Not inspected out of frame.
