James Rizzi ”Follow the Leader” 3D Print 1990 - James Rizzi (American, 1950-2011). Three-dimensional screenprint titled ”Follow the Leader, ” 1990. Depicting six joyful girls holding hands as they roller skate. Pencil signed and editioned 241/350 along the lower margin; further ink titled and dated along the lower margin. Sight; height: 4 in x width: 5 in. Framed; height: 13 in x width: 14 in x depth: 1 1/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible losses. There is a possible minute tear where the left hand of girl in the red dress would meet the right hand of the girl in the green dress. Light wear along the extreme edges of the cut figures and elements. Floated in frame under an acidic mat. Framed glass. Some wear to the frame, particularly to the green plastic casing around the wood frame, including scuffs, scratches, and small chips; the left side of the green casing is beginning to pull away from the wooden frame. Not inspected out of frame.
