Front: The obverse features the regal portrait of King George III, facing right, crowned with a laurel wreath. Surrounding the portrait is the inscription ”GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA” (George III, by the Grace of God), emphasizing the king’s sovereignty. Back: The reverse depicts the Royal Arms of Great Britain, with a shield that symbolizes the union of the four nations: England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.
