Egypt - Lot of 4 coins of 2 Mils (Miliemens) 1916, 1917 - AU-UNC - Late in the Ottoman period, many different currencies went into the Land of Israel, due to it being a transit country between different continents, nations and cultures. Markets and stores were used especially in Egyptian currencies until the issuance of the British Mandate coins.
