Palestine - Five Sports Medals of the Tel Aviv Commercial High School, 1933–1947 - A rare and historically important group of five sports medals, mostly made of silver-plated metal, awarded to students of the Tel Aviv Commercial High School for participation and excellence in interschool and local athletic events during the British Mandate period. The Tel Aviv Commercial High School was one of the leading educational institutions in pre-state Israel. Founded in the 1920s, it aimed to provide students with a combination of general education and practical commercial training, while emphasizing Zionist values, civic responsibility, and physical fitness. The school’s annual Sports Day events became a major part of the city’s cultural and educational life, symbolizing the spirit of renewal, perseverance, and unity that characterized the Jewish Yishuv.
