Palestine - Medal, World Congress of ”Agudat Israel” - Jerusalem, 1937 - Rare - NGC MS 63 - Obverse: A pair of dates and the inscription ”Sela, Agudat Israel”. Reverse: A map of the entire Land of Israel and the inscription ”The Third Great Church in Jerusalem 1937”. On both sides of the medal, the letters ”K” and ”C” are combined ”Sela” was the name of a symbolic coin introduced by the Agudat Israel movement (similar to the ”Zionist Shekel”). The medal before us was minted in honor of the third world congress of the association, at which the association decided on the prohibition of giving up the borders of the country.
