Obverse: Displays the institution’s emblem - a burning oil lamp within a laurel wreath, encircled by the inscription: ”MISHKAN TIFERETH JERUSALEM”, and around the outer rim the biblical verse: ”BLESSED BE WHEN THOU COMEST AND GOEST” (Deuteronomy 28:6). Reverse: Blank, likely intended for use as a donation or membership token. The unique floral edge and early American Judaic design symbolize blessing, continuity, and dedication within the Jewish community of the period.
