Israel – 250 Pruta 1949 – Without Pearl – NGC MS 67+ - The Israeli government has asked the Numismatic Association in Israel for design proposals for a new series of currencies. Leo Kadman and Hanan Pavel, along with graphic artist Uta Wallisch, submitted charts, which were approved by then-Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan. Obverse: The denomination ”250 Pruta” and the date in Hebrew; two stylized olive branches around the rim. Reverse: Three palm branches; ”Israel” in Hebrew and Arabic.
