Leo Kadman and Hanan Pavel, along with graphic artist Uta Wallisch, submitted charts, which were approved by then-Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan. Obverse: The denomination ”500 Pruta” and the date in Hebrew; two stylized olive branches around the rim. Reverse: Three pomegranates; ”Israel” in Hebrew and Arabic.
