An exceptional opportunity to obtain a very rare coin that has only been offered for sale a few times and certainly in such good condition. In total, as of today, several dozen coins of this type are known, extremely rare. You can see that the top of this type is the same as the ”close link” type (vertebral vertebrae at the top are adjacent) while the bottom of the front is the same as the ”open link” type (the initial no-puncture petals as seen in the ”open link type” ”). A very rare type of which at most a few dozen units have been documented, most of them in very used condition. The example presented before you is one of the best we came across and is offered very rarely. After the establishment of the state in 1948, and until 1952, the mill (and the pound of Eretz Israel) served as legal tender. The only coin minted in the State of Israel was 25 mils. Front: ”25 mil” with 2 stylish olive branches. Back: Painted and inscribed: ”Israel” and painted a grape cluster.
