The notes bear the tughra (royal monogram) of Sultan Mehmed V Reshad, alongside Ottoman inscriptions and traditional calligraphic decorative motifs characteristic of the period. These banknotes also circulated in the Land of Israel during the Ottoman rule and served as official legal tender throughout the empire. Reverse: Blank.
