USA - Lot of 43 Susan B. Anthony 1 Dollar Coins - Copper-Nickel, approx. 348.3g, 26.5 mm - A lot of 43 American Susan B. Anthony Dollar coins dated 1978, 1979, and 1980. This series was issued in honor of American women's rights activist Susan B. Anthony and became the first circulating U.S. coin to feature the portrait of a real woman. Obverse: Portrait of Susan B. Anthony facing right. Inscription: ”LIBERTY” and: ”IN GOD WE TRUST” Translation: ”Liberty” and ”In God We Trust”. Reverse: American eagle landing on the moon, inspired by the Apollo 11 mission emblem. Inscription: ”UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and: ”ONE DOLLAR” Translation: ”United States of America” and ”One Dollar”. The lot includes coins from different years and in varying states of preservation.
