One side bears the inscriptions “Ministry of Communications” and “Israel Post”, together with circular numeral patterns and various letter markings. The other side features the Israeli postal emblem surrounded by a Hebrew year, with the inscription “Telephone” in both Hebrew and Arabic below. These telephone tokens were used in Israel prior to the introduction of phone cards and modern dialing systems, and today are considered collectible items within the field of Israeli exonumia.
