The coin is dedicated to Emperor Franz Joseph I, who ruled the Austrian Empire and later Austria-Hungary for nearly seven decades. One side depicts Emperor Franz Joseph I in formal attire, accompanied by two crowns. The surrounding inscription reads: KAISER FRANZ JOSEPH I.
