A diverse lot comprising seven miniature gold pieces: three official coins issued by the Republic of Chad and four privately produced gold bars. The subjects include the Moon landing, the sailing ship Gorch Fock, the European Football Championship, a €500 banknote, a lucky clover and the German fairy tale “Frau Holle.” The lot comprises: Chad - 3,000 Francs CFA - 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing: A round coin featuring the coat of arms and denomination of the Republic of Chad on one side. The other depicts a footprint on the lunar surface with the inscription “50th ANNIVERSARY MOON LANDING 2019.” Chad - 3,000 Francs CFA - Gorch Fock: A rectangular coin dedicated to the German sailing ship Gorch Fock. The subject side depicts the ship under full sail, while the other side bears the coat of arms of Chad, the denomination and inscriptions indicating the gold fineness and weight. Chad - 3,000 Francs CFA - Frau Holle: Two rectangular coins based on the “Frau Holle” fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm.
