Australia - 1 Dollar 2025 - Year of the Snake, Australian Lunar Series III - Dragon Privy Mark - Silver 999.9, 1oz (31.1g) - An Australian silver coin from The Perth Mint’s Australian Lunar Series III, issued in celebration of the Year of the Snake in the Chinese lunar calendar. This special edition bears a Dragon privy mark and was limited to a worldwide mintage of 30,000 coins. Obverse: The left-facing effigy of King Charles III by Dan Thorne. Surrounding inscriptions include “CHARLES III, ” “AUSTRALIA, ” the denomination “1 DOLLAR, ” the weight “1oz” and the fineness “9999 Ag.” Reverse: A coiled snake resting beneath hanging tree branches. Above appear the Chinese character for snake, the inscription “SNAKE 2025” and The Perth Mint’s “P” mint mark. A circular Dragon privy mark appears to the right of the snake. The design also incorporates a micro-engraved security letter. Silver 999.9, weight 1oz - approximately 31.1g, diameter 40.6mm.
