Issued by the Austrian Mint, the coin is legal tender in Austria. Obverse: The great organ in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein. The surrounding inscription reads “REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH” (Republic of Austria), with the weight, fineness, year and denomination below: “1 UNZE FEINSILBER” (1 ounce fine silver), “2010” and “1,50 EURO.” Reverse: A group of musical instruments associated with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, including a cello, violins, harp, bassoon and Vienna horn. Above appears the inscription “WIENER PHILHARMONIKER” (Vienna Philharmonic), with “SILBER” (silver) below.
