Great Britain - 2 Pounds 2014 Britannia - Silver 999, 31.21g (31.1g Pure Silver, 1 oz.) - A British silver coin from the Britannia series, issued by The Royal Mint. The coin has a face value of £2 and contains one ounce of pure silver. Obverse: The right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The surrounding inscription reads “ELIZABETH II D·G·REG·F·D 2 POUNDS.” Reverse: Britannia standing in a helmet, holding a trident in one hand and a shield decorated with the Union Flag in the other.
