The bars feature reduced, colour-enhanced representations of the notes, including their architectural elements, stars, maps and euro symbols. Each bar is made of .999 fine gold and weighs 1/500 oz - approximately 0.0622g of pure gold - with dimensions of 21.6×10.95 mm. The thirteen bars contain a total of 0.026 oz of pure gold, approximately 0.809g. According to the accompanying certificates, the stated limitation was 50,000 pieces of each design. The collection includes: First Series: €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200 and €500. Europa Series - Second Series: €5, €10, €20, €50, €100 and €200. Obverse: A reduced and colour-enhanced representation of the corresponding euro banknote front, including the denomination, an architectural gateway or window, the European stars and additional design elements. Reverse: A reduced representation of the reverse of the banknote, including a bridge, map of Europe, denomination and the graphic elements associated with the relevant series. The bars are housed in rigid display holders and presented in an original album inscribed Gedenkausgaben der Euro-Banknoten - 999 Feingoldbarren Edition. The album contains German-language information about the euro and both banknote series, together with certificates of authenticity stating the gold purity, weight and dimensions. The album, holders, labels and certificates show signs of storage and handling.
