The collection contains six large rectangular bars, each made of .999 fine gold, weighing 1/100 oz - approximately 0.311g - and measuring 70×35 mm. It also includes a miniature commemorative bar designed after the €100 banknote, made of .999 fine gold, weighing 1/500 oz - approximately 0.062g - and measuring 21.6×10.9 mm. The denominations represented in the collection are: €5: A design inspired by Classical architecture, featuring a gateway on the front and a bridge on the reverse. €10: A Romanesque-inspired design, featuring an arch on the front and a bridge on the reverse. €50: A Renaissance-inspired design, featuring windows and arches on the front and a bridge on the reverse. €100: A Baroque and Rococo-inspired design, featuring an architectural gateway on the front and a bridge on the reverse. €200: A design representing nineteenth- and twentieth-century iron-and-glass architecture. €500: A design representing modern twentieth-century architecture. €100 Commemorative Bar: An additional miniature version of the €100 banknote, displayed at the top of the album beneath the inscription GOLD-GEDENKAUSGABE. Obverse: Colour-enhanced miniature reproductions of the fronts of euro banknotes, including the denomination, European stars, gateways and windows symbolizing openness and cooperation among the countries of Europe. Reverse: Reproductions of the reverse designs, featuring bridges, a map of Europe, the denomination and graphic elements symbolizing connections between European peoples, countries and cultures. The collection contains 0.062 oz of pure gold in total, approximately 1.93g. The large-format bars feature a proof finish and colour enhancement, while the miniature bar incorporates its gold purity and weight into the design. The bars are housed in transparent capsules and presented in an original folding MDM album, accompanied by certificates of authenticity for part of the collection. The certificates state the .999 gold purity, proof finish, colour enhancement, dimensions and weight. The album, capsules and certificates show signs of storage and handling.
