Iran - Lot of 4 Half Rial Coins, Reza Shah Pahlavi, SH1310 & SH1315, .828 Silver, Gross Weight 10.00 g (Net Silver 8.28 g, 0.2662 Troy oz) - A lot of four silver ½ Rial coins issued during the reign of Reza Shah Pahlavi. The coins were struck in SH1310 and SH1315 (1931 and 1936) and represent the early monetary reform of the Pahlavi dynasty in Iran. Obverse: The Lion and Sun emblem with a curved sword, radiating sun, royal crown above, laurel and oak wreath, and the denomination ½ Rial in Persian. Reverse: The inscription Reza Shah Pahlavi, the denomination ½ Rial, and the dates SH1310 or SH1315 within a wreath.
