Issued by various organizations, these medals commemorate cultural and national subjects and feature inscriptions in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. The lot includes: Two Peace medals dated 1978 featuring the dove of peace and multilingual ”Peace” inscriptions. Two Jerusalem themed medals depicting the map of Israel and views of Jerusalem. A ”Jerusalem City of Peace” medal. A ”Hanukkah Lamp from Poland, 18th Century” medal from the Israel Museum Hanukkah lamp series. Obverse: Various designs including the dove of peace, the map of Israel, multilingual peace inscriptions, views of Jerusalem, a historic Hanukkah lamp, and additional symbolic motifs. Reverse: Various designs featuring the inscription ”And I Will Give Peace in the Land”, panoramic views of Jerusalem, the State of Israel emblem, the seven-branched menorah, and commemorative inscriptions in Hebrew, English, and Arabic.
