Florins (4 Pieces) Obverse: Various left-facing portraits of Queen Victoria are depicted, including the Gothic Type and the Jubilee Head portrait, depending on the individual coin. Latin legends bearing the Queen's name and titles surround the portrait. Reverse: Most of the Florins feature four crowned shields of England, Scotland, and Ireland arranged in a cruciform design with national emblems in the angles. Some pieces also display the date and the inscription ONE FLORIN around the design. Double Florin Obverse: The Jubilee Head portrait of Queen Victoria facing left, designed by Leonard Charles Wyon, with the surrounding royal legend. Reverse: Four crowned shields arranged around the central Star of the Order of the Garter, with sceptres and national emblems between them. The date appears above the design.
