Late 19th Cent. Wood Ox Yoke With Bentwood Bows - C-20926 Hand carved wooden ox yoke with removable bentwood bows and iron center ring hardware. Retains a sculptural utilitarian form with visible hand shaping and a warm worn surface from age and agricultural use. Fitted with newer mounting hardware for decorative wall display, c. late 19th to early 20th century. Shows surface wear, scratches, age checking, and scattered losses throughout. One crack present to the body as shown in photos. One bentwood bow also shows splitting and wear from age and use. 48.25” L x 7” W x 23.75” H
