Children's World Cartoon Newspaper - Jerusalem 1927
Issues B of the children's newspaper 'Olam HaKelanim', which was published once every two weeks in the years 1907-1968, edited by A. Soloder.
The newspaper was attended by various writers, including Levin Kipnis, S. Ben-Zion, h. Lofting, K.I. Silman and more. Including illustrations by J. Stark [Bezalel], photographs of the children's experiences in Israel, advertisements, and more.
In the issues of the newspaper, an initial attempt is made, in parallel with the stories of the children that appear in it, to convey scientific content in a narrative way that will be accepted by the young children. To this end, it featured articles in the style of "Journey across the blood in our bodies" or "shooting animals", designed to teach the first concepts of the natural world.
Editor a. Solder translated Dr. Dolittle's book into Hebrew. The book was first published in Hebrew as a sequel to these issues, with excerpts from each issue being published.
Twelve sheets bound in old cardboard.
Very good condition.
