Two mid-20th-century reproduction furniture pieces including a Queen Anne style dressing table and a Georgian style chest of drawers - A lot comprising two pieces of mid-20th-century reproduction furniture. The first is a Queen Anne style kneehole dressing table or writing desk featuring burr walnut veneers and a serpentine-fronted profile. It is supported by four cabriole legs with shell-carved knees terminating in ball and claw feet. The desk is fitted with five drawers, including a central drawer with a shaped apron, all showing dovetail construction and featuring cast brass drop handles. One drawer interior contains a black metal retailer label which reads: Harvey Nichols & Co Ltd (of Knightsbridge, London) Complete House Furnishers, BOURNEMOUTH. The second piece is a small Georgian style bow-front chest of drawers finished in a mahogany-toned veneer. The chest features a configuration of two short over three long graduated drawers, each fitted with brass bail handles on stamped backplates, and is supported by bracket feet.
