Modernist Sculptural Wood and Glass Side Table - A contemporary sculptural side table featuring a biomorphic curved support structure. The central support is constructed from light-coloured wood with a natural grain, possibly oak or ash, and is mounted upon a circular polished chrome-finished metal ring base. The table top consists of a circular tempered glass pane, approximately 10mm thick, which is secured to the wooden support via three cylindrical chrome-finished metal bosses. The design is reminiscent of modernist furniture styles, particularly works attributed to Ronald Schmitt, although no manufacturer's labels or marks are present. Diameter 60 cm, Height 50 cm.
