Two Contemporary Italian Designer Chairs by Calligaris and Bontempi Casa - This lot comprises two contemporary Italian designer chairs, consisting of a bar stool by Calligaris and a Polo side chair by Bontempi Casa. The Calligaris bar stool features a padded seat upholstered in grey leather-effect material with a central decorative stitched seam. It is supported by four tapered, dark-stained wooden legs joined by a circular, chrome-finished metal footrest. A black fabric label stitched to the seat edge identifies the manufacturer as Calligaris. The Bontempi Casa Polo side chair, designed by E-GGS Studio, features a black moulded polypropylene wrap-around backrest and a contoured wooden seat with a dark grain, possibly walnut veneer. It is set upon a slender, brass-tone tubular metal frame with a cross-stretcher and black plastic floor glides. The chair is accompanied by an original manufacturer card confirming the model and design studio.
