The watch features a hallmarked 9ct yellow gold case produced by David Shackman & Sons (DS&S). The interior case back is stamped with the maker's mark DS&S, the reference number 8831, and full British hallmarks for London, including the crown symbol, .375 gold purity mark, leopard's head assay mark, and the date letter q corresponding to 1971. The silvered dial features a sunburst finish with applied gilt baton hour markers and matching hands, signed GARRARD and SWISS MOVEMENT. The manual wind mechanical movement is signed GARRARD and SWISS. The exterior case back is finished with an engraved script monogram.
