A Venetian Rococo Style Ochre Painted and Floral Decorated Arched Wall Mirror - This wall mirror is designed in the Venetian Rococo style. The frame is constructed from wood and composition, featuring a decorative shaped and lobed cresting. It is finished with an ochre yellow ground displaying extensive intentional crackelure throughout. The surface is decorated with painted floral sprays in a traditional Venetian lacquer or Arte Povera style, complemented by green and gilt scrolling foliate accents at the shoulders and crest. The arched mirror plate is housed within the frame. The reverse of the mirror is fitted with a composite backboard secured by small pins and includes two metal ring hangers with an attached cord for wall mounting. 42 x 92cm.
