The ivory field is decorated with intricate scrolling islimi vine-work, floral sprays, and Shah Abbasi palmettes. The design is framed by a wide main border of repeating floral motifs and multiple guard stripes. The pile is constructed from fine wool with silk highlights used to define the floral outlines, all woven onto a cotton foundation. Approx. Dimensions 300 cm x 200 cm.
