Rare: Sefer Tikkunei Zohar, Kopust 1810. A Wide Margined Copy - Sefer Tikkunei Zohar, printed by the Yoffe Family press, Kopust 1810. A very rare edition, one of only a handful of copies known. A fine wide-margined copy, printed on blueish-greenish paper.  A prayer to be said prior to reciting Tikkunim is seen on verso of title page. Printed with the approbation of R. Moshe, Dayan of Kopust. At the center of the title page is a special emblem designed to honor Czar Alexander, with his name featured in it.  Kopust (of present-day Belarus) was a known Jewish town, inhabited predominantly by Chabad Chasidim. The Kopust branch of Chabad was founded by R. Yehudah Leib Schneersohn (1811-1866), also known as the Maharil. He was the second son of the Tzemach Tzedek, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, the third Chabad Rebbe. After the Mahril’s early passing, he was succeeded by his son R. Shlomo Zalman Schneersohn (1830-1900), who is known for his classic work ‘Magen Avos’.  Page size: 25.6cm [1], 204 pp.
