Rare Edition: Sefer Rabbos – Midrash Rabbah, Amsterdam 1641. Immanuel Benveniste Press - A very scarce edition of Midrash Rabbah on the Torah, as well as Chomesh Megillos, with a separate title page. Printed by the famed Amsterdam printer Benveniste, in 1641.  Printed with the Matnos Kehunah commentary on the Midrash, which is recognized as the standard commentary on Midrash Rabbah.  Like all other Amsterdam imprints of the era, this work too boasts an aesthetically pleasing layout, due primarily because of the very fine typeset which was used in Amsterdam.  A very rare edition. To the best of our knowledge, this edition has not been at auction in recent years.  In overall good condition. Some page edges frayed and worn, with no loss or damage to text.
