Sefer Yad Haketanah - Rare First Edition, Lviv 1800 - Sefer Yad Haketanah, a fundamental work on the Rambam and on the 613 Commandments. Rare first edition, printed with the approbation of R. Moshe Teitelbaum, author of Yismach Moshe, while he was serving as Rav of Shinova. Initially, this work was authored anonymously, although it was later relvealed that the author was a devout and learned Jew by the name of R. Dov Berish Gottlieb from Shinova. The Chofetz Chaim was extremely fond of this work, and quotes it often in Mishnah Berurah and Sefer Chofetz Chaim.    Complete with both title pages. Each title page features different approbations on verso.  In overall good condition; corners are folded and worn (see photos). A burn hole is seen on pp. 33, with damage to text.  [2] 363 pp.
