Megillas Esther Scroll – Kesav Ari, Probably 19th Century, Eastern Europe - A fine Megillas Esther, written according to the custom of the Arizal. Based on the style of the handwriting and quality of the ink, we surmise that this scroll originates from Eastern Europe, and was written during the second half of the 19th century.  A ‘Hamelech’ Megillah, where each column begins with the word ‘Hamelech’. The text spans across 11 columns. The scroll is made up of two parchment membranes (Yerios).  We cannot vouch for the Kashrus of the Megillah; it is presumed non-kosher for use unless properly examined by an expert.  In overall very good-good condition. Ink is slightly brown but clearly legible. Parchment size: 31cm.
