Tur Orach Chaim, Personal Copy of R. Moshe David Teitelbaum of Lapus and R. Moshe Ayreh Freund, Warsaw 1875 - Tur Orach Chaim, Warsaw 1875 edition. Personal copy of R. Moshe David Teitelbaum (1856-1935), Rav of Lapus, and R. Moshe Aryeh Freund, Rav of Satmar, with his personal stamps on the title page.  The personal signature of R. Moshe David Teitelbaum on verso of title page.  Also seen is the signature of Moshe Grunwald of Satmar, in Hungarian: “Mor Grunwald Satu Mare”. R. Moshe Aryeh Freund (1903–1996), Av Beis Din of the Eidah HaChareidis in Jerusalem from 1979 until his death. He was born in Bonyhad, Hungary, to R. Yisroel Freund, the local Av Beis Din, and grandson of the Admor of Nasod, R. Yehoshua Freund. Prior to the outbreak of WWII, he served as Rosh Yeshiva and Av Beis Bin in Satmar, Romania. He was the sole survivor of his family, as his wife and nine children were murdered by the Nazis. Rebuilding his life after the war, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1951, leading the Satmar community in Jerusalem and authoring the seminal halachic work Ateres Yehoshua, by which he was affectionately known. Renowned for his piety, zealotry, and unyielding commitment to traditional Judaism, he influenced generations of students and was succeeded by R. Yisroel Moshe Dushinsky and R. Yaakov Fisher upon his passing at age 92. R. Moshe David Teitelbaum – The Lapuser Rav (1856-1935), son of R. Yisrael Yaakov (Yukel) Teitelbaum and son-in-law of R. David Halberstam of Krasnow, who was the son of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. He grew up in the home of his illustrious grandfather, the Yitev Lev of Sighet.  In moderate-poor condition. Many pages loose with tears, sometimes with loss of text. Pages 116-120 have large tears with heavy mold damage. Lacking pp. 121-225. Pages 278-279 torn, affecting text.
