Sefer Yesod: Sefer Shev Shmaatsa, Lviv 1804. First Edition - Sefer Shev Shmaatsa, Lviv 1804. First edition, printed during the lifetime of the author. Sefer Shev Shmaatsa, authored by R. Aryeh Leib Heller (c. 1745-1812), author of Ketzos Hachoshen and Avnei Miluim. It is perhaps the best known work in the Yeshiva world and is studied in depth and analyzed by Yeshiva students around the world. This was the very first work which R. Aryeh Leib wrote, however it wasn’t until less than a decade before his passing that it was actually published. In his introduction, he writes that because he wrote this Sefer in his youth, he was hesitant to publish it. It is said that he composed it while he was a Chosson, presenting a new part on each day throughout his Sheva Berachos. For this reason, it is divided into 7 parts. PRINTED BY R. SHLOMO RAPPAPORT OF LVIV-LEMBERG, THE FAMED PIOUS PRINTER WHO ALSO PRINTED THE NOAM ELIMELECH. In good condition, with some scattered worming, sometimes affecting text. Leaves trimmed. [1], 9, 90 pp. Lacking last 2 leaves of indices, however the actual work is entirely complete.
